How to make a fake people at gather town?

I would like to understand how do some people place those “fake” NPCs in their Gather space.

I think there are some Gather Avatar sprites available in the github repository.

All the available assets are there if I’m not mistaken. Although you can also upload PNGs of your own using the native mapmaker by clicking Upload Object

If you are looking to make fake ‘guests’ for the purposes of screen shots or videos, you can open the space in an incognito window, change the name on the guest to something, then set them to follow a main avatar. Can give the illusion of multiple people milling around.

If you are looking to make NPCs, there are only object-based solutions.
